There are many methods for zirconia ceramic processing based on different product performance requirements and processes.

Generally, mechanical processing is the main method for zirconia ceramic processing. 

Mechanical methods are further divided into abrasive machining and tool machining, 

among which abrasive machining is further divided into grinding, ultra precision machining, grinding, ultrasonic machining, and other methods. 

Generally, electrical machining or chemical etching of ceramics cannot be used for precision machining. 

According to the different processing energy methods, they can be summarized as following: 

mechanical machining, chemical machining, photochemical machining, and electrochemical machining.
