Features and uses of ZTA ceramic tile

1.The definition of ZTA ceramics:
1. ZTA ceramics are zirconia toughened alumina ceramics, which are inorganic non-metallic materials and are very good wear-resistant materials. .
2. Zirconia toughened alumina ceramics is also called ZTA. It is made by adding pure Zr02 zirconia to 99 alumina, and the particles form ZrO2 toughened alumina ceramics. When zirconia is added properly, the toughness of alumina can be significantly improved. It can be said that the toughening of alumina ceramics is currently the most used toughening method, and the approximate ratio is to add 20% zirconia (ZrO2) to toughen alumina.
3. The toughening effect of ZTA mainly comes from the following mechanism:
(1). Refine the alumina grain matrix.
(2). Zirconia phase transformation toughening.
(3). Microcrack toughening.
(4). Crack turning and bifurcation.
